We had a deep sea trip planned for Tuesday March 9th. However mother nature had other plans and due to rough seas we decided to go on a inshore trip. We fished for 5 and half hours without boating a fish. I blame this on the weather a few days prior lows in the 50s. That's why they call it fishing and not catching. Capt Richard did everything he could to find fish but unfortunately the fish were not to be found. I was extremely grateful of Capt. Richard's offer for no charge. I did not think that was right due to using his boat ,fuel and his guidance. To me that shows that Capt Richard is a very honest business man. I would highly recommend his charter service and will definitely schedule a trip when I visit Cocoa Beach area again. Bill and Kay Dearworth

Took my son and dad fishing with Lagooner this past week. This was my sons first time deep sea fishing. Well needless to say, it was his best experience in a long time. He caught a 50 pound sail fish on his first catch. It wore him out to reel it in but it was all worth it. We all caught different variety of fish. I got a Barracuda! King Mackerel and Cobia were also caught. And we got to take them home eat! Richard definitely made the experience memorable and enjoyable! We had such a blast and his knowledge of fishing and his experience as a boat captain are unmatched. We will definitely be booking with Lagooner again next year. Thank you Richard and Gina for a wonderful time with Lagooner Fishing!!

Took my mom for her first fishing excursion for Mother's Day. She is 76 years old and wanted to catch a "big one"! Richard at Lagooner Fishing was terrific. We went yesterday and was great. We have fished alot and can't say enough good things about Capt Richard. The radio from other charters were complaining while we were catching 30-40 lb Kings and Cobia. Would not go with anyone else

My wife and I have chartered Captain Richard for both the ocean and inland rivers. We have had great experiences catching king mackerel, barracuda, and speckled trout. Captain Richard knows how to put you on fish and takes awesome pictures of us with our catch. Would definitely go on another fishing trip with Captain Richard.

My son and I had a lovely time on the ocean today with Captain Richard. The fishing was great, took home two large King fish and a Spainish Mackerel. Had them for dinner tonight, was so yummy. We saw many dolphins, some huge sea turtles, a manatee and a shark. Was not only a fishing trip but also a great nature adventure. Loved feeding the leftover bait fish to the pelicans and woodstorks. I HIGHLY recommend taking this trip. Worth every penny.

Richard is a great guide with a lot of great stories. Worth the time & money.
We have gone with numerous times over the last 5 years. The last time was 12/27/16, we caught redfish, blue fish, mangrove snapper, jack & a snook.
My husband & I both caught redfish...a 7, 12, 20 & 30 lbs. another great day on the water.

Captain Richard was great company on the boat. He's a blast to hang out with and will glady joke around with everyone. When it came to the fishing it was a tough day to start but we were able to find a school of drummer fish. He was able to spot a school of fish from his boat which was pretty cool. We caught a good 20-25 lb black drumfish which made the whole trip worth it. For sure recommend captain Richard.

A very knowledgeable guide and knows the area waters well. We were on big reds and trout within minutes of the leaving the dock and ventured about the lagoon to catch different species. The scenery in the Lagoon is remarkable!
Richard’s boat was well equipped with good equipment, he was well prepared to adapt to the different types of fishing through out the day. My primary focus was sight fishing for big reds on fly - the flies that Capt. Richard provided were right on!
Booking the charter was a breeze, his wife Capt. Gina was very accommodating to work me in (thank you Capt. Gina).
Capt. Richard seemed to know who was hungry at the right times – and we had some impressive catches! Well done Capt. Richard, and thanks for a great day on the water!

I live in Cocoa Beach, but get lots of company from Germany & other parts of Europe, - gone fishing with Capt Richard of Lagooner Fishing Guides, several times, to make my friends Florida experience a real special one - never had more fun.
Capt Richard Bradley makes your day so special from the second you put foot on his boat. Chances are , you're going to witness a georgeous sunrise, he will point out anything & everything worthwhile seeing, he's knowledgeable, funny & entertaining - and he KNOWS , WHERE THE FISH ARE !!
Never been disappointed ever !!

Great day! Great fishing! I am a repeat customer and highly recommend Lagooner FishingI In mid-March, as a break from Disney parks, I took my two sons fishing. I took a nearly identical trip 10 years ago with my older son. Just like 10 yrs ago, Gina's customer service was awesome, and Captain Richard made the 6 hrs of fishing thoroughly enjoyable. My 8 yr old son caught his first "big one." Richard filleted the redfish, black drum, and trout we caught so back in Orlando everyone ate well that night. If you want a great fishing trip with great customer service while supporting a family run business, book with them.

When it comes to local fishing guides, Gina and Richard do not get any more local! Lifetime residents means they have invested their whole lives to this area. Not a better two anglers here in on the SpaceCoast! Our community is a better place with these two here.

Sometimes you cannot trust online reviews. I can assure you that this is not the case with Capt Rich of Lagooner Fishing Guides. Look no further and book your trip. I fished 1/2 day solo. Worked out perfectly as a little weather rolled in early afternoon. We caught a mixed bag of inshore species. The fishing and conversation were both enjoyable. Anytime I am fortunate enough to be in the Cocoa Beach area, Capt Rich will be hearing from me.

It's hard for us to believe, but our adventures with Lagooner Fishing Guides began over a decade ago when we came down to Florida for a weekend get-away. Over the years, we have had numerous incredible fishing trips with Capt. Richard! He is the BEST and has always given us an amazing adventure. We've not only landed beautiful fish, but we also get a new history lesson and lots of tips on making our time more special while we are visiting. One year, we even brought our team of employees to enjoy a few days of fishing and talk on his boat and they are still talking about that, 3 years later, as their "best" memory! Capt. Richard makes you feel right at home, whether you're a fishing pro or a first-timer. He'll keep you entertained with the tall tales and true stories and you'll never believe it's time to go inland because the time will fly by. We have recommended Capt. Richard to everyone we know who is making a trip down to the Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach area. His excursions are worth every penny and we always look forward to our next time on the water with Lagooner Fishing Guides. And when you go, tell him April sent you!

Captain Richard was amazing, after a short fishing trip I felt like we were good friends. He knew the fishing territory, it was too windy and high surf to go on the ocean so we stayed in the bay and caught 5 species of fish. His boat and equipment were top notch as well. He is very personable and accommodating to your needs. He has an awesome sense of humor which made an incredible fishing trip all that much better. He gave us pointers of what local attractions we should see before heading back to South Dakota, his advice was spot on. His wife, Captain Gina, called us to see how we were doing on the drive home. I would recommend him to anyone and plan on going back. Not to say that he is old :), but he's been doing this all of his life and knows his business! He is friends with other guides in the area and they communicate with each other to put their clients on the fish. All around awesome operation, I won't go anywhere else.

We chartered a boat on the banana river on a brief vacation to Orlando. We took one day to go to Coco Beach to go fishing. Our experience was excellent. Gina was very responsive and answered all of our questions. We met early In The morning and everything was already ready for us. We had several catches during the day. Richard was such a fun person to fish with. He has a fun personality and did all of the hard work (or icky work for the girls). He was extremely knowledgeable and we were fascinated with his knowledge of not only fishing but biology too. He also explained a lot about the area and space station stuff. I highly recommend Lagooner for anyone who wants a true local fishing experience with laid back yet highly experienced people.

About 8 years ago, I was staying in GA for a month of training and was looking to do some fishing on a weekend. I found Lagooner on the web and had the most incredible experience! Even though I live in California, I've returned to fish with Richard and Gina 3 or 4 more times. Anytime I get close to Florida, I make sure to call the Bradley's and book a trip. They have become good friends and show me true hospitality and I always look forward to catching up with them. Oh yeah...and the fishing is amazing! My work dictates when I'll be in the area so I can't plan when I'll be close enough to fish the Space Coast. No problem, Richard and Gina always know how to put together a great fishing trip in any season. If you're thinking of fishing with a guide, make sure you give them a call. You won't regret it!

I’m a returning client of Capt. Richard and Lagooner fishing! He is an awesome guide and always provides a great fishing experience! This last trip I caught the biggest trout I’ve ever seen and my friend caught a monster of a Jack among other fish we caught! Can’t wait to come back again for another trip!
