Full-Time Banana River Fishing Guide
I grew up on the Banana River which is a natural watershed nestled between Merritt Island and Cocoa Beach directly east of Orlando. This saltwater lagoon offers popular gamefish such as the redfish, spotted sea trout, jack crevalle and much other light tackle Florida sport fishing species.
As a full-time guide, I take customers to three major inshore saltwater lagoons, the Banana River, Indian River, and Mosquito Lagoon. Because of the location, Banana River fishing is popular among many anglers with less time to opt to do a half day. Leaving time to spend the remainder of their day either visiting the nearby beaches or taking a tour of Kennedy Space Center which is located on the shorelines of the lagoon and the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. You can often witness a space launch if you’re lucky enough to time your trip during one of these spectacular events.
