Cooking Your Catch Series: A Tasty Sauce for Seafood
Cooking Your Catch Series: Tartar Sauce
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Dill
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 Tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp – Dill pickle juice
- 3 Tbsp Dill pickles chopped
This is a very simple recipe, can’t get any easier to make yourself a little sauce for dipping. Whisk all the ingredients together and you will have a creamy tartar sauce that goes well with fried fish, shrimp or chicken!
Funny thing is, we always eat healthily and do not eat fried food very often. Every now and then you will find us mostly frying up some fresh kingfish in the summer to share with family and friends. For me, I love having a dip for my fried fish or seafood.
Tartar Sauce originated in France, it is spelled “tartare” sauce in many parts of the world.
