Receive Local Knowledge with an Orlando Inshore Fishing Charters Guide
Orlando inshore fishing charters are a short thirty-minute car ride from the Orlando International Airport to the beautiful lagoons including the Indian River Lagoon, Banana River Lagoon, and the Mosquito Lagoon. These saltwater lagoons hold several species of fish including redfish, sea trout, snook, tarpon, black drum and more.
While vacationing or visiting, what’s better than taking a day off from the theme parks or your conference than spending a day in the outdoors. As a full-time professional fishing guide, I would enjoy showing you the ropes around east central Florida while pulling in a few fish to boot.
What Is Inshore Fishing?
On Florida’s coast, you will find plenty of opportunities for Orlando inshore fishing charters in the many bays, inlets, tributaries, marshlands, and shallow seagrass areas. Directly east of Orlando between the beach oceanfront dunes and the mainland are the vast saltwater lagoons. The lagoons stretch north and south along the seaboard from Biscayne Bay in Miami toward Jacksonville and beyond. Inshore fishing is a great alternative to it’s opposite of Cocoa Beach deep sea fishing charters.
As a well-equipped fishing guide, I will take you out in a high-performance fishing boat simply known as a flats boat. “Flats” is a name often used to describe shallow water seagrass beds and sandbar areas that line many of the shorelines of the lagoons. This fast and light skiff is the best choice for getting to the fishing holes quickly and safely. The boat is equipped with live wells, rod storage and a poling platform that allows me to stand enabling me to see greater distances in pursuit of shallow water predator fish like redfish, snook, and sea trout.
